That’s a wrap for our first ever trade show!
A Look Back at the Professional Accountancy 2019
They say it’s all in the planning, and luckily we have a master organiser at Veritas, our very own Tzarina.
Tzarina spent the months before our attendance at the Professional Accountancy Show 2019 at the NEC, Birmingham organising the furniture, carpets and merchandise. Everything needed to display our brand and capability to business advisors, companies and everyone else interested in achieving sales ledger management best practice.
On the morning of the 18th, Janice, Tzarina and I excitedly awaited the ”ladies and gentleman – the show is open” announcement.
Within the first half an hour, incredibly, we had our first lead – a young lady working as a Finance Controller who is battling with an archaic finance system and has seen what Visibility can do for her credit control activity. Her business is seasonal, so the opportunity to access our team of expert credit controllers for several months a year really appealed to her.
We then met a business based in central London that struggles to recruit great credit controllers. They were very interested in the concept of outsourcing as a real value add to their business.
It was fantastic to hear the attendees’ reaction to the concept of virtual credit control. The fact that we are a truly virtual business, with a tech enabled workforce based throughout the UK, was met with great enthusiasm.
Attending the show allowed us to conduct some qualitative market research to assess how the market is evolving and gave us some very invaluable insights and intel that will benefit the business .
We had a fantastic couple of days in Birmingham and are busy planning our next exhibition. We look forward to seeing you there!
Entrepreneur of the Year AwardThank you to all of our great clients and team. Without them, I would never have won this award.
B2B Credit Control - Instalments & Late Payment Interest"Historically repayment plan arrangements have been limited to the odd customer with cash flow issues, it is now more prevalent and credit control software needs to adapt to deal with that, free up the credit controllers time and provide accurate management information”. I asked Michael his thoughts on how matters are currently progressing through the courts because, with around half of the courts being closed, you would naturally expect some delays?
