Veritas announces head office move to Milton Keynes’ tech and education hub

Veritas Commercial Services is delighted to announce that as from October 2018, it will be relocating its Head Office to premises at the heart of Milton Keynes’ technology and education hub.

The credit management specialist, which is widely recognised as a pioneer in Virtual Credit Control, is making the move to capitalise on its proximity to its IT development team and its ability to gain access to the region’s ‘smart’ infrastructure. This will act as a platform for accelerated growth, as a result of the company’s continued substantial investment in credit control technology and training innovation.

This relocation marks a significant point in the growth and progression of the business. In the last few years, Veritas has gone from strength to strength, continually improving its service offering for its clients. The business recently launched Visibility™, the real-time sales ledger management, query resolution and collaboration tool, which is rapidly becoming known as the solution of choice, bringing together Veritas, the client and their credit control team in a closer and more cohesive unit.

The code-breakers of Bletchley Park brought innovation to the city in the Second World War and that focus on resourcefulness and ingenuity remains. Today, Milton Keynes is the home of great success stories like Red Bull Racing and Marshall Amplification and has a thriving business base of more than 11,000 companies. Coca-Cola’s plant in Milton Keynes has nine manufacturing lines producing 48 million cases a year and the maker of the iconic Irn Bru and Tizer drinks, AG Barr, has also chosen MK for its new £20million, 265,000 sq ft manufacturing and distribution facility.

University Centre Milton Keynes (UCMK) is a hub for higher education with stunning new facilities and exciting courses right in the heart of the city.

Jenny Oldfield, CEO of Veritas Commercial Services, commented: “Growing supply-chains in asset-rich manufacturing, wholesale and distribution businesses; the advanced tech infrastructure; access to a great talent pool; a position just 30 minutes from London and the benefit of having half the UK population within two hours, makes Milton Keynes the perfect location for our Head Office.”

Jenny continued: “Business today is about being able to work anywhere and everywhere and we have always championed virtual working at the centre of our business ethos and operations. With our resources in the north west and south east now growing to ‘cluster’ size and with our tech and education hub based in Milton Keynes, we are ideally positioned to service the market optimally through VoIP and Visibility™. The future is exciting and we look forward to the move as we lead the way in credit management and training.”
