Veritas Commercial Services announces key appointment
Veritas Commercial Services is delighted to announce the appointment of Penny Geeves as Company Secretary. The new role will enable Veritas to monitor and achieve time and cost efficiency measures and ensure effective governance and compliance.
Penny brings over 30 years’ accounts, project management and operational expertise to Veritas. Penny has a wealth of Company Secretary experience, having performed the role in her family business where she worked for 15 years. Subsequently, Penny was appointed as Procurement Manager for an SME business for a further 15 years with responsibility for a £1.5 million budget. There she undertook varied projects including a global award winning rebrand of the business. Penny has worked for Veritas since 2017.
Penny Geeves said: “I am excited with my new position within the company. This is a very varied role, which I love and I can honestly say that no one day is the same. I am used to working in businesses where there is a need to remain agile whilst retaining robust financial management. This is a very exciting time for everyone at Veritas. We have a number of new, innovative projects underway that we look forward to offering to new and existing customers alike and I am thrilled to be able to play a part of Veritas’ growth at this pivotal stage of the company’s development. With our expanded team and ambitions for rapid and controlled growth, the future developments are both fascinating and challenging.”
